A refreshing, fruity and floral blend of green tea with tropical herbs and citrus
I ordered a sample of Rishi’s Orange Blossom Green Tea on a whim. I love fruity teas and I’m always looking for a new fix. I love the tart sweetness oranges offer and the description sounded perfect. My boyfriend and I excitedly brewed a pot that evening and we were surprised by how strong the lemongrass was. It overpowered everything. It was like someone had squeezed an entire lemon into the glass without bothering to infuse it.
I make iced tea on a regular basis, and decided to use it for my next batch. Maybe being a cold brew would lessen the flavor. It was not as strong iced but there was something about the body of the tea that was just off.
We’ll finish off the tea but I’m glad I just ordered a sample as this was a big disappointment.
