Review
Molly Burke’s memoir is uplifting and informative. I liked that Molly mainly put the focus on herself rather than her disability. As a disabled person, (cerebral palsy) I also found myself nodding along as so much of what she said applies to all people with differences. I find memoirs so hard to review as I feel like I’m critiquing that person’s life experience. Therefore, I’ll keep it short.
- Molly’s spunk and matter-of-fact attitude is what drove the book.
- I also enjoyed that she narrated it as I don’t think anyone else could have captured it the way she did.
- Being able to follow Molly’s journey is the highlight and what I most enjoyed about this novella.
Which brings me to.
Molly is a person who just happens to have retinitis pigmentosa and,she is someone I’d love to get a cup of coffee with.
