The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. An uneventful week.
As seen below, I participated (very little) in the Bout of Books read-a-thon and despite my reading lethargy finished one book. (see below) .
My big weekend plan was watching the Preakness despite my fear of horses, before going out to dinner with friends.

I am looking forward to your movie review and hope your reading slump improves! Have a great week! The Sunday Post
I hope so too! had been having a difficult time getting into The Outsiders, but I think I'm over it now.
Reconstructing Amelia sounds really interesting. I had to read The Outsiders in school and I liked it.
I participated in Bout of Books too and kind of pushed myself to read more. I think if I hadn't also been doing a marathon of Game of Thrones DVDs I'd have finished one more book.
Reconstructing Amelia is a riveting thriller, I think I'm in for a ride.
Series (be it mini or tv) are very distracting, especially White Collar!
I enjoyed Reconstruction Amelia – I hope you do too!

I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed Reconstructing Amelia! Thus far, it has really captured my interest so I'm glad it stays that way.
The outsiders, there is a movie by the same name, by Francis Ford Coppola I think, is the movie based on this book?
Enjoy your reading week,
Kind regards,
Yes it is based on the book, and I think he did a very good job portraying. Although I haven't seen it in years, maybe I should revisit it after I finish the book.
Schroder looks great, based on the cover at least. It's been on my wishlist for a while. How come you didn't finish it? I like the sound of Reconstructing Amelia. Enjoy!
Take a look at what I'm reading this week.
The cover was part of the reason why I picked up Schroder. I got about 50 pages in and found the plot to be slow moving and the custody battle over Schroder's daughter to be uninteresting.
You had a great week. The Lennon books looks good. Hope this is a great week, too.
Thank you, the Lennon book was very interesting but I don't think it is for the light of heart, as I found it to be a little grity.
I rarely do well with read-a-thons. Too much pressure, though I know they're meant to be fun. 😉
I *love* the name of your blog. That's my most favorite literary quote ever!
To much pressure is right, but then I scold myself because they are suppose to be fun.
Yes, I love that quote, I think it embodies my love for the written word.
I enjoy The Outsiders. I hope you like it. I'm currently reading The Host by Stephenie Meyer.
I loved The Outsiders when I first read it (middle school) so far it has lived up to my remembrance.
I am going to read the Tana French book before the end of the month for one of my book clubs. I haven't read her before so I am interested to see what it is like.
I love Tana French, she is a fantastic mystery writer, I hope you (and your book club) like it.
I've heard interesting things about Reconstructing Amelia. I hope you enjoy it and find a great book to read next!
Reconstructing Amelia is very interesting, it's very different from anything I've read in a while.
I hope I find a good book to read too. I just ordered The Talented Mr. Ripley at the library, so I'll most likely read that next.
Hi! I'm hopping by (a little late – it's almost Monday again – but, oh well) and am a new follower.
I enjoyed The Outsiders and That Was Then, This Is Now. Haven't read your other books. Here is my It's Monday for 5/20.
