Why I’m Waiting
Even since I was a kid, beginning with the “Janie Johnson” series I have been fascinated by kidnap/vanishing children stories. It is a horrible topic and feel sick admitting my interest, but I think the thing that appeals to me is not necessarily the disappearance but the aftermath and the how the family deals with this tragedy. As this is a focus in The Lake House I am looking forward to fueling my sick addiction.
