Frightful Fall Read-a-Thon Wrap Up

Posted October 10, 2011 by Whitney in read-a-thon / 1 Comment

Well, I will start out by saying the weather was incredible all of last week and so I tried to spend as much time outside as I could, but that means I didn’t get as much reading done as I would have liked for the Frightful Fall Read-a-Thon hosted by Michelle at Castle Macabre.

Read-a-Thon Stats:

  • I didn’t complete any books, reading Bram Stoker’s Dracula the entire week (I’m a one book at a time kind of girl)  but did read 230 pages out of 400 so the slow reader is very happy with that.
  • My total reading time was 11 hours.
  • Blogging time: around 2 hours.
  • I am a major caffeine addict, (as I’m typing I have an iced mocha at hand) and probably had a dozen caffeinated drinks during said time.
  • I also won a prize! a copy of A Career Guide To Your Job In Hell by Axel Howerton,  I was super excited about this because I honestly never win anything.  Although, when I think about it, that makes me sound like Daniel Radcliff never having read “Harry Potter” before making the movies, but I swear its the truth!
  • Despite possible low stats I had high levels of fun!
