Top Ten Tuesday: Bookish/Bloggish Goals For 2013

Top Ten Eight Bookish Goals For 2013

  1. Read what I want when I want — In 2012 I decided to only read classics and as is typical when one boxes themselves in the plan can go sour.
  2. Do not go crazy with reading challenges — I don’t think I completed a single one last year, and I find them to be stressing to finish on time.  That is not the point of blogging!
  3. This leads into my third resolution, remember that blogging is a hobby and should be fun.
  4. Try not to go overboard with spending on books
  5. Read my own books, I have so many on my shelves left unread.
  6. Comment on at least 5 blogs a day
  7. Continue with the blogging schedule I started at the end of 2012
  8. Schedule posts

  1. Absolutely with you on #3, #6, and #8. I wish I had a problem with #4 🙂 Great list!
Also, love your quote from Pride and Prejudice!

Thanks for stopping by my TTT.

  2. #6 is something I need to implement as well. I either spend far too much time perusing blogs and commenting (when I should be reading) or I avoid them altogether. I think if I stick to 5 a day I'll be far more consistent and get more reading done. At least that's the plan.

  3. Great list of goals! Especially number 1 – it's way too constricting to read only one genre for a whole year. Maybe for a month or something it would be okay to focus on a genre you've been neglecting, but a year is rough!

    Good luck with your goals!

  4. Blogging is fun should be our battle cry. We can paint our faces like William Wallace and cry, "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!"

Thanks for stopping by my blog. 🙂
