Even though it doesn’t even feel close to fall outside it is time for the R.I.P. VI Challenge (Readers Imbibing Peril) hosted by Carl V. at Stainless Steel Droppings running from September 1 – October 31 with several different “perils” to choose from.

Oh, to be able to read Gillian Flynn for the first time again. I've really enjoyed all of her books that I've read. They're a little harsh but so bald and unapologetic. (Also after I gave her first book a good review, unprompted, she sent me a nice email thanking me! Politeness is always nice.)
It's been ages since I've read Camus but it's nice to see him showing up on an RIP list. The Plague was my favourite of his.

What the Dead Know is an awesome choice, as is anything by Tana French. I especially loved Faithful Place.
Oh my, your list of potential reads is incredible. Dracula and The Thirteenth Tale are two of my all time favorite novels. I love Alan Bradley's stories and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is so perfect for this challenge and was a fun read.
