Regency & Victorian Reads Challenge: Incomplete

Posted February 23, 2012 by Whitney in Reading Challenge / 3 Comments

“I tried to go on like I never knew you
I’m awake but my world is half asleep
I pray for this heart to be unbroken
But without you all I’m going to be is incomplete”
Man I loved the Backstreet Boys growing up (I guess that dates me).  and
I thought these lyrics would express a challenge that has expired and
will be incomplete. Regency & Victorian Reads Challenge hosted by Royal Reviews  The challenge ran from October 2011 – March 1st 2012.  Okay, so I have a few more days left but there is no way I going to read two books in a week.  Although I did complete two out of the four I committed to which are listed below.

  1. Dracula by Bram Stoker
  2. Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen

Two is better than none, right? And there's no law that says you can't make new time goals for yourself to keep going… 🙂

  2. Oh, I loved reading Dracula, even if it scared me more than I'd like to admit! (In my defense, a power outage occurred just as Jonathan Harker was beginning to notice strange events going on at the castle.) I hope you enjoyed it. 🙂
