  1. You have no idea how many times I've picked up a Stieg Larsson book and then put it down again. Did you like these? I have wanted to read (and plan to read) Sweetness At The Bottom Of The Pie. It was a toss up between buying that one and The Help. I went with The Help, which I haven't read yet, but it was hard to choose.

  2. I think you'd like both the Millennium series and The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie. They are both very enjoyable reads but are both vastly different in their writing approach; Stieg Larsson is much more dark where as Alan Bradley is a little lighter and more fun-spirited.

My mom read The Help recently and enjoyed it, but thought it got a bit repetitive towards the end. I'd be curious to read your thoughts on it.
