Question:

Do you read tie-in novels to movies or television series? If so, which ones?

Answer:

Yes, I really enjoy reading novels that having been adapted to the big screen. I usually stick to the genres I read anyway, dramas and historical fiction. Nine times out of ten I’m disappointed but I still enjoy the hunt and watching every single Jame Austen adaptation in existence.

She followed Harry back into the hall and up the stairs, looking up with much curiousity and interest.

My Thoughts

Considering how much happens in this novel the first sentence is a little dull. As for page 56, even though she isn’t named I love Tonks, she is such a vibrant, fun character and was happy to have her join the party.

  1. Enjoy your Potter reread.
Ah, I interpreted today’s question differently from you. I took it to mean novels written based on films and TV shows rather than stories that started as books and became films and series later.
Like you, I do enjoy an Austen adaptation, although some work better than others.

  2. Several of them start slowly, which may be why she had so much trouble selling the first one. I enjoy re-reading the series every few years. Seems like I get a new meeting each time. Enjoy!
