Alice continues her adventures in Through the Looking-Glass, which is loosely based on a game of chess and includes Carroll’s famous poem “Jabberwocky.”
Throughout her fantastic journeys, Alice retains her reason, humor, and sense of justice. She has become one of the great characters of imaginative literature, as immortal as Don Quixote, Huckleberry Finn, Captain Ahab, Sherlock Holmes, and Dorothy Gale of Kansas.

Alice’s In Wonderland by Lewis Carroll is a very fun, quick read that is not just for children. The obscureness of Wonderland makes it all the more enjoyable, and sometimes wonder if Lewis Carroll added something magic to his tea while writing this story for a little girl.
Alice in wonderland was one of my favourite reads as a kid and I loved the movie too!! 🙂 🙂
One of my favorite movies. I have the same book in my TBR pile. I'm on a search for the 3rd book… there is a 3rd book, right?
I saw the new movie over the weekend and loved it! I didn't know there was a third book, but I have seen The Anointed Alice which explains all things curiouser and curiouser in Wonderland.

Hopping by to bid you a wonderful weekend. Your blog is gorgeous. I'm working more classics into my reading list. I loved reading Alice in Wonderland as a child and will reread it soon. But I actually don't see how I missed reading The Wizard of Oz! I guess I loved the movie so much I didn't realize it was a book. Have fun at the Hop!
